yeshiva gedolah of los angeles striving for excellence
At Yeshiva Gedolah of Los Angeles (YGLA), we’re taking steps that lead to gadlus. From the first moment a bochur walks through our doors, he embarks on a journey of growth, Aliyah, and personal refinement.
With a focus on both Limud HaTorah and Midos Tovos, our Talmidim are guided to develop not only their minds but their hearts, instilling within them the values and strength to embrace the future with purpose.
Now, as we approach the end of our 5th decade, YGLA has shaped the Los Angeles Torah Community, providing a Makom Torah where bochurim are welcomed with warmth and respect. With each milestone, our Talmidim move closer to their potential, equipped with the drive to become true Bnei Torah and the leaders of tomorrow.
Our comprehensive curriculum of both Limudei Kodesh and Limudei Chol provides the Torah foundation which prepares our graduates for all their future endeavors.
Yeshiva Gedolah was established close to 50 years ago, and was founded on the model/tradition of some of the most renowned yeshivas in the United States. Our Rebbeim encourage our Talmidim to achieve the highest caliber of learning possible, enabling them to continue into the world as fine Bnei Torah.
As the preeminent Mesivta and Beis Medrash in the Los Angeles Community, B”H Yeshiva Gedolah of Los Angeles is succeeding in achieving and maintaining its goals of excellence. Through the vital assistance of our community, parents, and alumni, we continue to grow and reach our Chinuch objectives in assisting each Talmid reach his potential. It is through their support that every Talmid can grow מחיל אל חיל.
We derive tremendous Nachas seeing the progress of our Talmidim each year, and how they grow as true Bnei Torah. By the time a Talmid has completed Beis Medrash, he can analyze the entire sugya.
Steps of growth, learning, and character; where each step builds on the last, from discovering a love for Torah to achieving personal excellence.
Steps leading from who our boys are now, to who they are striving to become, and the greatness for which they aspire.
Steps laced with the warmth, dedication, and vision of YGLA, where every step taken shapes not just Talmidei Chachamim, but the future of communities across the globe.
